My journey towards a healthy lifestyle started more than 25 years ago when I lived in a housing cooperative. During that time, I discovered the joy of shopping at local farmers' markets and establishing CSA relationships with nearby farms, harvesting food and eating seasonally. These experiences set me up for success in the years to come.

My experiences taught me to critically examine food labels and understand the value of home cooking. However, my understanding of food's significance expanded beyond just its health benefits when I spent almost  a year traveling through Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the Middle East. The trip exposed me to how food and culture are intertwined, and I learned that culture, ritual, money, and pride all play a role in shaping our relationship with food.


To further enhance my expertise, I earned a Certification in Integrative Nutrition Health from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN). The program delved extensively into various topics such as nutrition, physical fitness, inflammation, gut health, brain health, immune health, and detoxification.

My combination of experiences and education empowers me to bring to the table not only a wealth of knowledge but also compassion and understanding for each person's unique journey towards a healthier life. With an unbiased and non-judgmental approach, I listen attentively to my clients' stories and struggles. From there, we embark on a journey to achieve their health goals and live a fulfilling life.


Apart from being an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach (INHC), I also hold a Certificate in Lactation Counseling (CLC) and a Masters Degree in Library and Information Sciences (MLIS). My diverse educational background and extensive research experience, mainly in the health industry, have uniquely equipped me to integrate the best nutritional model for my clients at all stages of life.

With my specialized training in nutrition and lactation, I am well-positioned to provide comprehensive support to clients seeking a holistic approach to health and wellness. My research skills enable me to stay up-to-date with the latest nutrition trends, while my ability to collect and analyze information ensures that my clients receive individualized advice tailored to their specific needs.

Postpartum Support
As a passionate advocate for postpartum health, I firmly believe that this period is not only crucial for a mother but also for her baby and the entire family. My passion for this area of health stems from my own personal experience when my oldest daughter was born prematurely 17 years ago, and I suffered from postpartum depression. Despite the challenges I faced, including a premature delivery, two weeks in the NICU, and five weeks of struggling to transition her to breast milk, no one checked in to see how I was doing. I eventually overcame my depression, but the guilt lingered for nearly a decade. Sadly, my experience is not unique, as many mothers suffer from postpartum depression, regardless of how their birth stories unfolded.

I believe that during this critical period, it is essential for mothers to prioritize their health and well-being. The food we eat, the movements we incorporate into our daily lives, the emotions we feel, and the mindset we cultivate are all interconnected and affect the baby. Therefore, the most selfless act a mother can take is to care for herself genuinely. I am committed to supporting and empowering mothers to prioritize their well-being, so they can be fully present for their babies and families.
